Explore my work in IT helpdesk and networking projects.
On-going project, currently in its 3rd iteration. Running OPNsense, serving as the main firewall routing solution in my homelab.
Using an older dual-socket platform, I created a server that can be used to provision containers and VMs for use in labs and for everyday functionality in my life. Something that started as a Plex server on FreeNAS, to a Proxmox server hosting a variety of services.
In anticipation of starting CCNA I sought to get my hands on decommissioned Cisco equipment to run labs from. There is a practical point where Packet Tracer is more efficient. There are other times when getting in and setting up something experimented with in Packet Tracer to with real cables, finally gives a full and better picture of the operations.
